There is a wide range of local initiatives and services available in Solihull to support you to take part in sport and physical activity and lead a more active lifestyle.

 Initiative Brief Description 
Back to Netball Learn new skills and have fun playing netball with friends.  Sessions cater for all abilities and are open to women aged 16 and above.
DocSpot Adult exercise referral scheme to encourage a more active lifestyle in order to improve health outcomes.
Living Well Family weight management programme for children aged 5-16 and their family which encourages healthy lifestyles by addressing healthy eating, regular physical activity and improved self-esteem.
Living Well Healthy Tots A free healthy lifestyles programme for parents with children aged 2-5 which aims to give children a healthy start in life.
Living Well Maternal and Early Years A free healthy lifestyle service for pregnant women, new families, and those with childrend aged up to 2 years which aims to give children a healthy start in life. 
Neighbourhood Sports Programme Positively Changing lives: Inspiring personal development and community spirit through sport, volunteering and active lifestyles.
Park Run A weekly, 5km timed run open to all ages and abilities.  The run starts at 9am every Saturday in Brueton Park and it's free to take part.
Size Wise 12 week adult weight management programme to encourage a healthier lifestyle through healthy eating and physical activity.
Solihull Discovery Walks Solihull Discovery Walks is an informal group of like minded people who enjoy fun, fresh air, friendship, finding out, physical activity, healthy exercise and a stimulating walk by weaving natural history, local history and good company together. 
S.T.A.R.S. STARS aims to provide support and encouragement to the Borough’s leading talented and elite sports performers. Sports people achieving a minimum of Regional standard or above receive free access to Parkwood Leisure's facilities to support their training.
Step into Solihull Physical activity project targeting over 45's and people with disabilities to improve health outcomes.
Us Girls - Active Women  Us Girls is a Sport England funded initiative that aims to get 30,000 young women living in disadvantaged communities more active by boosting opportunities for them to play sport within their local communities.
