The Olympic Games in London are less than a year away!

On July 27th 2012 the world’s attention will turn to London. This date is the first day of the start of the Olympic and Paralympic Games in our capital. The hosting of the Games is putting a real focus on sport, reminding us of the power of sport and giving us clarity that sport is important for the nation, our communities and individuals. Sport is fun and it gives us the opportunity to express ourselves. Sport helps us to be happy and healthy - it improves our quality of life.

There will be many great achievements by Olympians and Paralympians from across the globe to inspire us all to be more active more often.
