What’s the story so far?

Amazing things have happened across Solihull since the start of Solihull Girls Can. Hundreds of local women and girls are feeling the benefits of getting more active, more often. They’re shaking things up, having fun, and achieving things they never thought they could.

‘I joined Zumba to make new friends find some me time and get back my love of dancing. I walk a lot as it helps the kids keep active and gives me thinking time and lifts my mood.’

‘Some time away from caring for children, time to myself!’

‘I love contact sports. I like feeling like I did something. I like the social aspect. Fun and laughter. Without sports I would be lonely.’

Find an activity

It’s great when we get together and whatever you’re thinking of trying, it’s never as hard as you think. You don’t need expensive kit or fancy trainers, just come along and give it a whirl!

Mondays – includes interval training, bounce bootcamp, one fit mama and touch rugby

Tuesdays – includes fitweigh, mums on the run, tennis and netball social leagues

Wednesdays – includes fitsteps, golf, bounce, bollywood dance and boxing

Thursdays – includes swimming, zumba, clubbercise and scuba diving

Fridays & the weekend – includes aerobics, FITPoW and cycling
